Instagram, a photo-sharing app, was launched back in 2010 for iPhone users only. Later on, in 2012, the Instagram app was introduced for Android users. The much-awaited Instagram business account was launched then in 2016. This app aimed to connect users by letting them share pictures through its platform. There are multiple ways to unblock the blocked people on Instagram’s mobile and/or desktop app. The respective instructions are listed below:

Unblock on the Instagram Mobile App

Instagram started its service with an iOS app back in 2010. And later on, it launched the Android app in 2012. To unblock a blocked person on the Instagram app, follow these steps:

1. Open your Instagram app on your mobile phone.
2. Tap the name of the person’s username in the search bar option (second from left on the bottom taskbar) to open his/her profile.
3. Click the menu icon (on the upper right side) in order to open the Options menu.
4. Scroll down and tap on the Unblock option.
5. Tap on the OK option to get restore the bond again!

However, in case if you are unable to remember the username of the person, do not worry and follow these steps now:

1. Open your Instagram app on your mobile phone.
2. Click the humanoid icon (on the bottom right side).
3. Click on the menu icon (on the right upper side) and scroll down to the end, to click on the Settings option.
4. From the Settings Menu, scroll further down and click on the Privacy option. 
5. Now from the Privacy menu, click on the Blocked accounts.
6. Now open the profile of the person by clicking his/her name among the list.
7. Tap on the Unblock button on that particular profile.
8. Click on the Unblock option after getting a confirmation message on behalf of Instagram.
9. Proceed with Step # 6 and it’s done!

Unblock on the Instagram Desktop/Web App

If you are using the Instagram desktop/web app and wishes to unblock someone using this medium, just go through these steps:

1. Open your desktop Instagram app.
2. Tap the name of the username of the person in the search bar.
3. Click on the Unblock button and there you go!
